A Shift in Focus for this Blog

At the time of this posting, I have had about 20,000 hits with 120 blogs posted.  I started it in August 2011, which was three years and four months ago, where the focus was to teach the Faith to the world.  At present, this meant an average of 500 hits per month.

I've given this some time to think about -- the past several months, in fact -- and I'd like to change direction somewhat the focus of this blog site.  This blog still has a teaching tone, since I cannot imagine myself otherwise or until God shall remove my ability to teach as I age and get older.  But I would like to focus on and specialize in the theology of warfare.

I've had Our Lady of Fatima on my mind and heart for quite some time.  She said in 1917 that war was punishment from God for the sins of humanity.  I've done many papers for the past couple of years on the issue of war and peace, and so this blog takes a more specific focus.  Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI said while still serving on the Chair of Peter that it would be a mistake to think that the messages of Fatima are not relevant for us today.

Consequently, the purpose of this blog, this web log classroom, as of today, is to focus on providing moral guidance for matters related to a theology of war, which includes attempts to avert war and help usher in the triumph of the Immaculate Heart.

I hereby consecrate this blog site, or rather renew the consecration, to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

I am all yours, my queen and my mother, and all that I have is yours.
